As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I find that it is of utmost importance for me to discover your financial goals and dreams before deciding on a course of action. I believe it's paramount for me to work closely with your CPA, estate planning attorney and insurance professional to craft a tailor-made financial strategy for you and your family.
My path to becoming an Edward Jones financial advisor began in 2005. I was working as an administrator for the County of Napa and was selected to be a board member of the County's Deferred Compensation Board of Control (457b Plan). I continued as a board member and fiduciary to all plan participants for 13 years before starting as an independent investment advisor representative in Napa in 2020. I then worked as a wealth advisor for Carson Wealth before beginning as an Edward Jones financial advisor in 2025.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in 1989 from the State University of New York at Oswego and obtained my graduate degree in 2017 from the University of South Dakota. I hold the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and the California insurance license (life, health, accident, #4035449). I also attained my CFP® certification in 2025.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time camping and rafting on the American River, exercising, reading and spending time with my wife, CC, and our two children. I also enjoy practicing my underdeveloped golfing skills.

Capital gains is one of those topics most people don’t think about until they need to. This workshop is simply an opportunity to understand it a bit sooner—with guidance from Thomas Commander CFP® and the team at L’AGENCE Napa Valley.
